Urban Swag Reloaded
Melbourne, Victoria, Australia., April 20th, 2009 - The Corporate Underground, a design and market agency that represents numerous clients in the music, adult, and gaming industries, announces that they after talks with the owner of the popular web-zine “Urban Swag”, have just acquired the magazine label. Urban Swag will continue to run under its current management and format for the full run of May 2009 with the magazine relaunching on June 1st 2009 at its new home www.urbanswagreloaded.com under the management of The Corporate Underground.
The Corporate Underground has pledged to, in their words, “reload” the magazine by introducing a new site layout, a re-branding campaign, offering better and more competitive advertisement opportunities for developers and IMVU business owners while maintaining the same article format and same quality. The Corporate Underground also intends to maintain much of the staff, keeping the status quo while raising the bar for quality articles, consumer interaction, and advertising opportunities.
“The Corporate Underground has grown by leaps and bounds on IMVU ever since the introduction of our design and marketing services. While we will continue to keep design and advertising as our core services it is our hope to expand further into entertainment and publishing and Urban Swag is just the platform to see that expansion through. While many fans may object to the changing of the guard or feel that the magazines quality will drop nothing could be further from the truth. We fully intend to maintain the same format, bringing you the same articles, contests, and advertising opportunities only on a larger and grander scale.” said Tripp Miller, the Chief Creative Director for The Corporate Underground. About The Corporate Underground
Founded in 2008, The Corporate Underground (www.thecorporateunderground.net) is a design and marketing agency based in Melbourne, Australia. In March 2009 IMVU users were stunned when this group came to IMVU and immediately garnered a number of high profile clients such as Lollirot and Krissyangl2, providing their professional services at prices that IMVU developers could afford. The results were clear when these developers saw massive increases in sales volumes within a week of their relaunch. Since then The Corporate Underground has expanded their services on IMVU through two unique brands: Opticon, a graphics house that produces hand drawn and digital art and Vertex, a design factory that focuses on creating quality meshes for IMVU developers to purchase and then add to their own catalog, breaking down the wall between texture developers and IMVU grandmasters. The Corporate Underground has established it’s own IMVU account, http://avatars.imvu.com/CorporateUnderground which is currently under development.
